Disclaimer
A register is only as good as the date of its last check. This page sets out how far an entry, a list or an article on Internet Gambling Directory can be leaned on, where the operator’s own document takes over, and what the publisher does not answer for.
18+18+ only. Gambling can be addictive — play within a limit you set before you start. Free, confidential help: BeGambleAware, GamCare and the National Gambling Helpline on 0808 8020 133. Self-exclude from every UK-licensed site at GAMSTOP.

What the register is
Internet Gambling Directory is a reading list of operators that hold a Gambling Commission licence for Great Britain, together with the guides and articles that explain how those licences and offers work. It is published by Harbourleigh Publishing Limited, Grand Ocean Plaza, Ocean Village, Gibraltar GX11 1AA. Nothing here is a gambling service: there is no account to open with us, no balance to top up and no stake that passes through this domain. When you follow an entry to an operator, you leave the register, and everything that happens after that is between you and the licensee.
Treat the pages as background reading — not as guidance on money, law or tax — and do not read a listing as a suggestion that you should gamble, or gamble with that particular brand.
Licence fields
The licence account number, the name of the licensed company and the status we print are copied from the Commission’s public register on the day the entry was last compared with it. A licence can be suspended, surrendered, varied or revoked between two of our checks, and a brand can be transferred to a different licensed company. The Commission’s own page is the document that settles the question; if it and our row disagree, believe the Commission and tell us about the gap.
Offers and wagering
Welcome offers, free spins, bonus codes and their conditions are transcribed from what the operator publishes. Operators rewrite them often and rarely announce it. The figure on our page is the figure we saw on the date beside it, nothing more; what binds the offer is the complete set of conditions the operator publishes, worth reading for three things in particular — the wagering multiple, the cap on what bonus winnings can turn into, and the expiry.
Since 19 January 2026 the licence conditions limit wagering on a GB bonus to ten times and stop operators from tying a promotion to play across different products. An offer quoted anywhere at 35x, or one that asks for a sports bet to unlock casino spins, is either withdrawn or out of line with those rules. If you meet one on a page of ours, treat it as our mistake rather than a live deal.
Deposits, withdrawals and timings
Payment methods, minimums and payout speeds are the operator’s own statements. They are not measurements we took on your account. Identity and affordability checks, a change of payment provider or a weekend can each stretch a withdrawal well beyond the time printed on an operator’s banking page, and some methods can be used only one way. Pay-by-phone-bill deposits in particular carry caps fixed by the mobile network and the billing company rather than by the register.
Games, RTP and volatility
Return-to-player figures come from game providers and describe what a slot pays back across an enormous number of spins. A session of an evening sits nowhere near that sample, so a 96% figure says nothing about what you will have left at the end of it. The same title can also be supplied in more than one RTP version, and the operator decides which one it runs; the figure shown inside the game’s own help screen is the one that applies. Volatility labels are a rough guide to how prizes are spread, not a forecast.
How a list is ordered
Every list names its criterion in the heading — a cash welcome offer, a published code, no wagering, a year of licensing — and the order follows that criterion. We publish no score, so a high place means only that an operator fits the heading better than the rows below it on the checking day. That is no verdict on how the operator treats complaints, how quickly it pays or whether it suits you. Some rows carry a tracked link; how that works is set out on how the register is paid, and it does not move a row up or down.
Brand pages and bonus codes
Many brand pages began as promotional write-ups long before the register took its present form, and their headline offers were written for the rules of the day. We bring them into line in batches, so an older page may still quote a code that no longer works, a deposit match the operator has since dropped or a wagering figure the current licence conditions no longer allow. A code is only valid if the operator’s promotions page shows it today; typing an expired one rarely does harm, but it will not unlock anything, and some operators apply their welcome offer automatically with no code at all.
Articles, guides and the blog
Guides explain rules and products in general terms; news items and blog posts describe a situation as it stood on their date and are rarely revisited afterwards. Sports betting pages talk about markets, not prices: odds move by the minute and the price at the bookmaker when you place a bet is the only one that counts. Some articles include links that a third party has paid to place, as the line under each page states; a paid link does not mean we have checked the site it points to.
Links to other sites
We link out to operators, to the Commission, to help services such as GamCare, BeGambleAware and GAMSTOP, and to sources we quote. None of those pages is ours to control — whether they stay online, how they treat what you type into them, or whether what we linked to still says the same thing next month.
Age and where you are
The register is written for adults in Great Britain. Real-money play is limited to over-18s, and a licensed operator has to confirm your age before you can deposit. If you read us from outside Great Britain, the operators listed may not be permitted to take your custom, and the law where you live decides whether you may play at all. If you have joined GAMSTOP, none of these entries is a way round it.
Responsibility for loss
Within legal limits, the publisher carries no liability for stakes lost with an operator, for an operator refusing a bonus, shutting an account or sitting on a withdrawal, or for anything done on the back of a number that had since changed. Liability the law will not let anyone limit stays untouched — harm to life or body through carelessness, deceit — and so do your statutory rights as a consumer.
Reporting a stale entry
Corrections are the most useful message we receive. Write to [email protected] with the page, the field and what the operator or the Commission now shows; the entry is re-checked against the source and fixed or withdrawn. The terms of use and the method page sit alongside this one.
In short:
- the Commission’s register outranks our licence row;
- the operator’s full terms outrank our offer summary;
- the game’s help screen outranks our RTP figure;
- a paid link never changes the order of a list.
